These mentions include names of front facade, if you play close attention to the front, you will see the sleek linings redefining this bike. The same stories goes with rest of body. Starting with the heart of KTM 1290 SUPER DUKE R. the drivetrain is a V Twin engine with 1301cc displacement. Thanks to this combination, the super duke was never more powerful. With this specs, the new KTM is capable of producing 180BHP peak power. Being a naked street bike, it`s impressively aggressive. The slight suspicion of KTM reveling its record and image have gone too far.
As this beast turned out to be a polite one, still it`s easy to ride, well thanks to the electronic work in the end. Having said that, the strongest impressive is not being fast but easy to manage. The max torque goes to 106lb. the good news is, this best open-class streetbike can reach the top speed of 150 miles. Along with that speed, it only consumes one gallon per 45 miles. Something pretty impressive. As for the transmission, we have a six speed.
Packing so much heat and easy to manage, no doubt that the new KTM 1290 SUPER DUKE R will stir up the competition after all. But give or take, it’s a pretty impressive naked bike on accounts of its engine specifications and performance. It does live the promise which is quite the key to success.

Ride and Handling
Starting with the handling at first place, KTM 1290 SUPER DUKE R is providing you with a bit forgiving for what you would expect from a beast. The point is, handling here is a bit light and easy to manage, something we all love in a street bike. But as it comes to the track, the adjustable WP suspension is tuned for transforming this naked beauty into a proper sport bike.
This is where you can do all the hard pushes on the track. Along with that, you won`t be feeling much restrictions thanks to the standard Dunlop and vague front. Taking the scene back to flat and smooth, the electronics keep impressing as long as we ride the horse. The crux is, no matter how fast you dive. You will easily maintain the control.
Accounting its ride, the super duke is awarded with 9/10.
Best open-class bike is still keeping V Twin on the songs, guess what. It doesn’t fail to impress us. With the massive and smooth flow of power, our ride on even the bumpy roads is quite comfortable. Well the credit goes to tune up but I believe frame constructions plays an important role here as well!

Considering what we are paying for KTM 1290 SUPER DUKE R, there is some room for a bit more carbon bits and improved ABS system. Yes, KTM is delivering what it promised us all. Huge and addictive ways provide us with riding pleasure that only a few bikes will ever match.
